Why I Joined The GOA

Gun Owners of America has long been known as a no-compromise organization.  Much like the JPFO, they are a hard-line group that believes the Second Amendment says what it says, and they don’t accept compromise because of it.

I hadn’t really thought much about them until recently, when I saw obnoxious anti-gun Piers Morgan interviewing Larry Pratt, GOA’s Executive Director.  After the interview, I joined the GOA.

You can watch the interview here.  It’s worth it to take a couple of minutes to listen to a snotty Brit tell us to lay down our arms (especially when Britain’s crime rate is up and ours is down).  Maybe it’s just me and a few million other Americans, but I think we had this argument before.
