Colorado Leftist Advocates Pens For Self Defense

Before mocking the pen part, let’s look at the last part of what he says:

…so there are other ways to address violence and it doesn’t mean we have our kids exposed to a whole crossfire of multiple folks in a room shooting simultaneously.

– Colorado State Senator Jessie Ulaberri

The answer apparently is to have only the bad guys shooting, because somehow that’s “safer”, and to have good guys left unarmed to defend themselves with, at best, kubotan.

The leftist answer is apparently to huddle together in a mob, hoping that the predator only takes down a few of you before you can either run away or “valiantly” charge in and get killed and maybe overpower your attacker.

I’m sure leftist Ulaberri’s next act as a Colorado state senator is going to be to have the Colorado capital police disbanded, because it’s dangerous to shoot back.

To a greater degree, this kind of mentality is a rejection of natural law.  He doesn’t think your life, or the life of anyone, is worth protecting.  He thinks that defenselessness and allowing yourself to be murdered is the best defense, because maybe, eventually, if you’re in a huge mob of people, somebody will be able to overpower a suicidal madman.

In the real world, it means that women and men both won’t be safe to walk alone at night, that remote areas are now lethal stomping grounds for killers because they have weapons and power and you have a pen… and you left your mob behind.

There are a couple of words for people who believe in defenseless unarmed safety in numbers…  one is victim, the other…
