Lt. Col. Allen West continues to make waves in Washington D.C. He says things that I believe need to be said. He literally makes the following euphemism ring true, “If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.” Here is a clip from his interview from the Greta Van Susteren show from April 21st.

Will he run in 2012? I would like to see it. Should he run being only a freshman representative? He has more executive experience than our current president from his time in the Army. Can he defeat the president in debate? I don’t think he ‘d worry about debating all the issues and call Obama to account and show that his policies have only worsened the state of this country economically and in the realm of foreign relations. Time can only tell us the tale. With that in mind 2012 approaches.

Dallas’s own reporter makes a splash in the political river while interviewing the president. Watch Obama’s facial expressions as he is answering the questions Watson gives him.

I don’t know about everyone else, but i saw a little anger, irritation among other things. The president doesn’t like to be corrected and he likes to be able to say whatever he wants in answering a question, whether his response actually answers the given question or not. I think Watson did a good job in both correcting the President and in framing the question of political considerations being involved in which states received the space shuttles from NASA. This type of questioning needs to be used more often when the media has opportunity to interview major political personalities whether they have a (R) or (D) by their name.
